I wish the soccer organization my daughter is in would be better about informing parents if the games are cancelled, or at least what the expecations are of when they might be. It rained here all night, but it’s not raining now, so I don’t know if she’s having the game or not.

I got this new plugin for my Wordpress blog called “Wordbook”. It’s supposed to cross post with Facebook. Not sure how it works exactly, this is a test post from my blog to see if it “crosses over”.

I see now that many of my coworkers have facebook pages that they update frequently and add photos too etc. Most of them also have their own blogs they write on. How do they have time for all that? And do they print the same stuff in both places? I don’t get it.

I seem to be having some issues with my photos and eye-fi. they are uploading to Flickr okay, but never making it back to my PC. Doesn’t seem to happen all the time, but it’s enough to be annoying. I have some things that are out of sync now and with the number of images I have, that’s a ginormous pain in the butt.

I see that my boss Ed is creating his own mame cabinet. I think something like that would be extra cool. If only our basement was finished and I had the money and the time for it.

After years of windows hosting and working in windows, switching over to Linux hosting is strange. The file system is strange, the mail system is strange, the domains are strange. It’s just hard to get used to.

Theoretically if I do this right I should get some MP3’s or something

Well, it seems as though things are up an running for the most part. I registered a .biz domain. the issue is that when I try to view my site or things from work, about 90% of the time it works, but sometimes I get nothing. I don’t know if it has to do with the proxy or firewall or what. And the .org is parked on top of the .biz and it never works from work, but from home it’s totally fine. i don’t know if it’s just REALLY slow getting to the DNS that my work proxy uses or what.
